Vintage 1950s secretary desk in veneered wood. This model is particularly admired for its graphic front and slanted profile. It consists of a display case with two sliding glass doors, a removable solid wood shelf behind the drop-down front, and at the bottom, two doors that open to another removable shelf. In good working condition. Please note, a missing edge at the bottom of the secretary has been filled with wood filler. A cover for the screw is missing on the right screw where the hinge slides. The key is not original, but it opens and closes perfectly. As the secretary is slanted, locking with the key is optional. A beautifully crafted French piece for work and storage.
