This fabulous rosewood sideboard is the work of Danish designer Inger Klingenberg, who was married to American designer Ross Littell. They established a design agency in Copenhagen in 1958 and designed models for Fristho that were put into production and presented in 1960 at the Cologne Furniture Fair under the name "Inger Series." This sideboard is the Inger-195 model and features doors with an "Indisch Palisander" finish and a magnificent flamed Rio rosewood finish. Raffia is applied to the doors. The Dutch manufacturer Fristho was renowned for its superior quality production and was represented internationally by the large company Arflex (Italy), which distributed its products throughout Europe in the 1960s.
