An antique cache-pot with a sculptural silhouette, characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic of the interwar period. Its oval shape, rhythmically adorned with regular and architectural lobes, creates a volume that is both graphic and elegant, designed to be decorative even without vegetation. The glazing features a turquoise green/mineral green palette with subtle variations in tone. The interior is fully glazed. It bears a painted stamp under the glaze, associated with a model number “265” and a workshop mark, indicating production from a structured workshop or factory, following a series logic. The whole corresponds to French production from the interwar period (1920s–1930s), likely originating from a ceramic hub in Northern or Eastern France. In beautiful vintage condition, with very light wear consistent with age. The glaze is well preserved. There are cracks and a patina of time (see photos). Length 27 cm, width 18 cm, and height 14 cm. A rare and striking piece for a contemporary interpretation of ancient ceramics.
