Set under flat and bottle bottom fish Verlys

Beautiful table set consisting of an oval flat bottom and 2 round opalescent glass bottle bottoms. Motifs "aux poissons" signed verlys which is the contraction of verrerie des andelys (a small town in lower normandy) which was from 1925 to 1946 the biggest competitor of lalique. These 3 pieces have fish as a pattern under their smooth face and it is these fish in relief that isolate the dishes and bottles placed on top of the surface of the table. The objects made by this glassworks have become rare since their production stops while that of lalique continues on most of its models. The underside is 30.5 cm long and 20.5 cm wide. The underside of the bottle has a diameter of 13 cm.
