Modernist coffee table

You have to imagine this coffee table with a tray to your liking... Whether it is dressed in a vinyl with vintage patterns, or replaced by a solid wood or even concrete tray... Because, I grant you, the decoration of the current tray does not make you dream! On the other hand, it is very smooth, still in good condition, and can easily be painted or covered with an adhesive. The base on the other hand, and it was he who caught my eye when I hunted it, is really very nice! Clean lines, mixing curves and straight lines, all in metal tubes with square section, painted black, with small golden additions at the ends of the feet. In a modernist style but with small reminders of the art deco period, it may date from the 50s or 60s. The black paint had some gaps, so I repainted and revarnished the visible parts of the metal structure. This table is in good structural condition, still very solid, no problem on the welds, but does not hide its age: the tray has stains, but it is not embarrassing since we said that we were going to put it to our liking; ) the gilding on the "skates" is patinated by the years, stained or absent in places. The top measures 73.5 cm by 33 cm, the table has a height of 39 cm. It weighs about 7 kg.
