Vallauris ceramic conch shell empty pocket

Here is a shell that will not go unnoticed! It can be used as a pocket emptier, an ashtray or simply sit on a shelf alone or in accumulation. A ceramic with a well-crafted shape, pretty curves, a base designed to make the object completely stable. And a very successful glaze, with multiple shades, in pretty colors including this flamboyant orange-red! This shell is not signed but its shape and glaze are typical of the ceramics that were offered by certain pottery workshops in Vallauris in the 70s. It is in very good condition, no cracks or chips, just tiny chips, unless it is original (slight lack of thickness of the glaze?) on the tip of the shell, on a ripple and on the tip at the back of its base, you can feel it very slightly to the touch, but it is invisible to the eye. This shell measures 20 cm in length, approximately 13 cm in maximum width, 9.5 cm in maximum height.
