Scandinavian coffee table in rosewood with planter and storage - 1960s

Original Scandinavian coffee table from the 1960s, featuring a modernist design that combines elegance, functionality, and ingenuity. This piece stands out with its cubic silhouette and clean lines, along with its beautiful wood veneer in warm tones and expressive grain, giving it a lot of character. Its top includes a rectangular black planter compartment, ideal for housing plants or creating an original decoration. This feature adds a nice touch of modernity to the table and recalls the creative spirit of 1960s furniture. Another particularly appreciated asset: a large part of the top lifts to reveal a spacious hidden storage chest, perfect for keeping books, magazines, throws, or other everyday accessories. An ingenious system that allows for a beautiful storage space while maintaining the minimalist aesthetic of the piece. With its generous proportions and architectural look, this coffee table serves as a true centerpiece in a living room. It will fit well in both a vintage interior and a contemporary environment. Overall good condition, with signs of use related to its age, including some small veneer chips on the edges and borders, visible in the photographs. The piece retains a beautiful presentation and all its original charm.
