These beautiful rugs are handmade, flatwoven kilims woven in the early 21st century, circa 2010. It is unused and so is in excellent condition. The design features a bold red background that has been decorated with an intricate decorative geometric medallion. This has then been framed by a green layered border with a repeating geometric pattern. The geometric patterns paired with the elegant colour palette make this modern kilim a great accent rug for any home. These area rugs were woven with fine, hand-spun silk and wool that has been dyed with organic dyeing techniques, used for generations. Woven with traditional flatweave techniques that have also been used for centuries.
