Chair by Lyon-based cabinetmaker and designer André Sornay, a pioneer of patented assembly systems. Solid blond mahogany frame assembled with threaded rods, the designer's signature feature. The slightly curved backrest provides additional comfort, while the seat has been carefully reupholstered in Nobilis' Mont Blanc fabric in a gray shade, creating a simple and elegant look. Manufactured by Sornay Furniture, circa 1960.
