Antique Pair of Blue and White Delftware Column Candlesticks

Period: ca. Early 20th century a pair of tin-glazed delftware candlesticks. The candlesticks are shaped like corinthian columns and decorated in the typical blue and white style of dutch delftware. The detailed designs are mainly floral and beautifully executed. The bases are marked. These show some production flaws (an indication of age in itself) as well as signs of age and are probably from the early 20th century, if not older. Condition: good. Beautiful antique condition with some signs of age in the form of small chips to the earthenware layer, especially on the tops. Dimensions: 25 cm high, 10.5 X 10.5 foot.
