The bohemian artist in his studio. Watercolour on paper. In good condition except for a small tear (visible in the photos) at the top right. This gently caricatured and humorous representation of an artist is typical of how romantic painters were viewed at that time: poor and mad. The "Bohemian" artist lives in an attic with a hungry dog dressed as a lion, surrounded by books and antique busts that symbolise his dreams.
