Fireplace clock Raingo Brothers XIXth

Raingo brothers xixth. Fireplace clock, black marble and bronze depicting an elongated antique woman. The mechanism works and the pendulum rings (no key or pendulum) The terrace of the clock has been restored and only the left part is marble, The right part and the central bar are made of black lacquered wood. These three parts are not fixed between them and it is the weight of the clock that holds everything together. As a result, brass strapping in a row of pearls is also mobile (and in two parts but without lack). The plate above the clock and under the bronze is also movable and made of wood. All this is visible in a photo. The enamel dial is signed raingo frères in paris, roman numerals for hours and arabic numerals for minutes. The bronze depicts a woman lying down reading (but the paper or letter she originally held in her hand is not present – comparison made with an identical model). The price is estimated due to the restorations to be expected. Dimensions: 50 X 18 X h 44 cm. Weight: 25 kg.
