Telegono Artemide Lamp - 60s space age iconic lamp - Vintage desk lamp Vico Magistretti Studio Colle

The iconic and rare telegono space age lamp was designed by vico magistretti in 1966, and then produced by artemide from 1968 to 1979 - leading edge of the studio collection - the 1st series of brand design masterpieces. Telegono sculptural design features a movable shell hinged to the plastic body, allowing direct and indirect lighting. telegono 60s lamp is entirely made of innovative plastic materials: the body of opaque melamine, the shel in pmma. It was produced in three colors, white, black, red. Interestingly, telegono lamp joined also the ikea catalogue in 1970-71. Awarded in 1970 wiener mobelsalons international, vienna. Telegono is also permanently showed in the archive & collection, ikea museum, älmhult, sweden.this vintage desk lamp is in very good conditions. Item: space age table lamp.
