Art Nouveau two-tier tea table

Tea table with two tiers from the Art Nouveau period, featuring a light and refined silhouette characteristic of Belle Époque creations. The upper tier, with a flowing shape and slightly notched front, is adorned in its centre with a delicate marquetry design of stylised floral and vegetal motifs. It is entirely encircled by an elegant openwork gallery in gilded brass. The lower tier follows the general shape of the piece and showcases beautiful wood arranged in a herringbone pattern, also highlighted by an openwork brass gallery. The entire piece rests on four slender supports, slightly curved at their lower part, connected by a flowing stretcher adorned in its centre with a circular medallion. The combination of warm-toned woods, marquetry, and brass gives this small table great elegance.
