White damask party tablecloth, 1900, 5m50x1m80

Huge tablecloth! In beautiful damask of thread of the beginning of the 20th; monogrammed tg, but so stylized that we could read it differently... The extraordinary is rather the size: 5m50 X 1m80. Damascus is composed according to the habits of the time: A wide circle with the chosen theme: here holly and thistles (christmas tablecloth?) Closer to the center the same patterns repeat smaller in another rectangle. In the center of this rectangle the monogram is repeated 2 times leaving the middle of the tablecloth without decoration: this is where we put the dishes or especially with the decoration of flowers etc... The tablecloth is hemmed by hand and in very good condition. Nb: if you want, I put on sale apart 8 assorted towels that I will offer at a very low price if they are chosen with the tablecloth...
