Solid mahogany chair designed by French designer Christian Durupt. This model was created around 1960 for the Méribel winter sports resort, where he collaborated alongside Charlotte Perriand. Its sleek and functional design, typical of the French modernist style, highlights the natural beauty of the wood and the quality of its workmanship. With its slightly inclined rectangular backrest and round seat, this chair combines comfort and aesthetics. The four slightly flared legs add a graphic touch and ensure perfect stability. It has retained all of its period character with its beautiful original patina. Slight traces of time that underline its authenticity! I do not have any historical documentation.
