Tastevin “Burgundy Patriarch”

This little tastevin is engraved "patriarch". “burgundy patriarch”. It is therefore a french tastevin. Needless to say, I don't know if it's a good idea to put it on sale these days: ). At the same time, the word patriarch is hidden by the thumb when holding it. I always knew it at my parents' house, it was not used for testing or tasting, but it was used as an ashtray. It could now be used to place rings, or even to put a large flat candle inside. It is made of silver metal. Old, because I have always known it so... Old... (at least 1960) it weighs 50 grams. When you turn it over, I find that it looks like a small rum baba mold.
