Set of four Cobra dining room chairs designed by Giotto Stoppino and dating back to the 1970s. Chromed tubular metal frame with a seat and backrest newly upholstered in brown leather. Iconic Italian design from the 1970s. Born in 1926, Giotto Stoppino was one of the most important figures of the Italian Space Age movement. He worked as an architect but primarily as a designer, creating objects and furniture in coloured plastic and chrome-plated metal—the most popular materials of the 1970s. Vintage. Signs of wear on the metal, seats are newly reupholstered with brown leather and new padding. Dimensions: Height 79 cm, depth 42 cm, width 58 cm, seating height 53 cm. Period: 1970s. Origin: Italy.
