Elegant and graphic, this large compartmentalised serving platter (ideal for hors d'oeuvres, tapas or appetisers) is an authentic piece from the late 1960s / early 1970s. It stands out for its remarkable glazing work: an ultra-glossy chocolate brown base contrasted by expressive and textured drips of vibrant colours (saffron yellow, tomato red, green, and white froth effect), typical of the Fat Lava movement and the artisanal productions of the time (in the spirit of the Vallauris workshops). Featuring two side handles perfectly integrated into the mass, it offers three distinct sections for a neat presentation. Beyond its serving function, its highly sculptural design makes it a beautiful Mid-Century decorative object, suitable for display on a sideboard or repurposed as a catch-all. In perfect vintage condition. The glaze has retained all its original splendour and shine. No cracks or chips to report.
