This iconic set of six model 77 dining chairs was designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, 1960. A quintessential expression of Danish modern craftsmanship, the design is celebrated for its refined proportions and seamless organic lines. Each chair is crafted from solid teak, displaying a warm tone and beautifully grained surface. The sculpted frames flow effortlessly into the curved backrests, providing both comfort and visual harmony. The seats have been newly handwoven in natural paper cord, a hallmark of Møller’s designs that perfectly complements the tactile quality of the wood. These chairs exemplify the timeless combination of material honesty and masterful joinery. An iconic and highly collectible set, presented in excellent condition.
