Large Jesus 30 cm wooden nativity scene sculpture XIX

Former large child jesus from the beginning of the 19th century carved from a single piece of wood, the terrace is independent and later and only has the function of raising the whole. The wood is covered with a thin film of plaster and painted. The whole is finely sculpted and proportioned. The gouge marks under the child attest to manual manufacturing. Comes from a former convent. Excellent used condition, without weakness or shine, lack of material, or wood-eating insects, superficial wear of colors, patina of use, the removable terrace has numerous plaster/paint breaks and you can see the wood underneath, see photo length 30 cm under the terrace, 28.3 cm at the straw width 12.2 cm under the terrace, 11.5 cm at the straw height 14 cm with the terrace, 11 cm without mary, joseph, a bearer of offerings, two sheep, an angel with outstretched wings, and two other angels in my other sales.
