Antique oil and vinegar set in moulded crystal with bamboo torso, signed Saint-Louis, registered 1900.

This magnificent antique oil and vinegar set is made of moulded crystal from Saint-Louis. It is a superb oil and vinegar server in crystal from the Saint-Louis crystal factory. It consists of a stand adorned with twisted ribs, known as "twisted bamboo, " and two carafes with glass stoppers. The stand is signed "Saint Louis déposé" in block letters within the mass. This set dates from the late 19th century, or even the 1910s. This model of vinegar server is featured in the 1907 catalogue: the bottles are different. Here, the carafes are made of moulded glass with fine twisted ribs. Note some small chips on the edges of the stand, a chip followed by a crack on the neck of one bottle. The glass stoppers do not appear to be original. This vinegar server measures approximately 23.5 cm in height and 19 cm in width.
