Vintage hat box, caramel beige hat carton 1920-1930

This superb hat box is big. This hat box is sheathed with oilcloth, caramel color. It is an authentic vintage hat carton that the ladies used for transporting and preserving headgear. This box closes by a lock (there is no longer the key unfortunately). The interior is lined with red and gray marbled paper. The underside is protected by small round pins. A beautiful decorative object that evokes the fashion of yesteryear: the elegant with floral dresses, gloved and hated for all occasions... You can fill the hat boxes and vintage boxes for an accumulation effect. In good general condition, this hat box measures 44 cm X 42 cm for 24 cm in height. I report traces of use (worn borders, traces of oxidation on the metal and scratches).
