Old cloisonné vase in the shape of a jar, predominantly brown and burgundy. The interior as well as two visible bronze borders structure the silhouette of the object. Finely crafted floral motifs reminiscent of nature in the fall season. The underside is covered with a luminous turquoise blue enamel, typical of this art. Dimensions height 16 cm, base diameter 5.5 cm, belly 9 cm, neck 5 cm. Weight 290 gr. In a perfect state. This technique consists of outlining the outline of the patterns using a thin metal strip welded to the metal field. The cells thus obtained are filled with enamel. Everything is then fired and sanded. The beginnings of the cloisonné enamel technique appeared in mycenaean greece, were taken up in russia, spread throughout europe and then spread to china via the silk road at the start of the ming dynasty (1368-1644).
