Armchair EA104, Charles and Ray Eames Vitra Edition

The aluminium chair is one of the great classics in the history of 20th century design. Charles and ray eames designed and developed this seat in 1958 for the private residence of an art collector in columbus, indiana. For its construction, the designer couple abandoned the idea of the seat shell to stretch a fabric or leather panel between two aluminum side pillars, thus obtaining a firm but flexible seat. The seat adapts to the contours of the body and is extremely comfortable, even without sophisticated padding. Model ea104 edition vitra (2014) with its certificate. New condition.
