Coffee table in cut iron, 1940

Small table with round top, in carrara marble, characterized by its whiteness and its discreet gray veining. It rests on a cut iron structure, and more particularly on a hollow circle with a serrated perimeter reminiscent of that of the base. Three identical figures, with a slim and feminine silhouette, act as uprights. Each of them is leaning on the tip of one of his feet, the other leg being bent and raised, the knee almost touching that of the other two. With her arm raised, each young woman seems to look at her hand that holds the top of this table. Note that our workshop has added a piece of wood cut to measure under the marble, acting as a wedging, and thus ensuring permanently an ideal positioning. ********* Era: 1940. Perfect condition.
