Chest of drawers "Schubladenstapel" by Ueli and Susi Berger, Switzerland 1982

The “schubladenstapel” or “stack of drawers” chest of drawers designed in 1982 by the swiss artist couple susi and ueli berger, is inspired by a stack of stacked suitcases. The initial concept gave birth to a sophisticated piece of furniture linking art and design. Each piece is unique, manufactured by the swiss family company röthlisberger thanks to great technical and artisanal mastery. The model shown here is crafted from rosewood, decorated with a unique diagonal veneer, and features spherical black resin handles reminiscent of drawer interiors. Weekly organizer with 7 drawers.
