Solid oak farmhouse table with Danish oil finish 212 x 92 patinated

Unique Farmhouse Table – Exceptional Craftsmanship and Characterful Wood. This magnificent farmhouse table exudes authentic warmth, combining rustic charm and refinement. The top is crafted from two wide radially sawn oak planks, sourced from a majestic tree that fell during the 2009 storm on my property. Slowly dried, these planks developed a superb honey patina, now protected by a Liberon Bistro satin varnish. This subtle finish preserves the natural appearance of the oiled wood while ensuring excellent durability. The “tiger” grain is spectacular and entirely natural. Butterfly keys, cut and inlaid by hand, reinforce the structure while highlighting the wood’s lively character. Subtle traces of tannin enrich the history of this remarkable material. The turned beech legs, a hard, stable, and elegant wood, add a classic touch to the rusticity of the top. A pass-through drawer, accessible from both sides, combines functionality and aesthetics. This table has been my personal dining table for several years, a precious piece at the heart of many moments in life. I am parting with it only to move to a format more suited to my current space. Dimensions: Length: 224 cm. Width: 92 cm. Height: 75 cm (63 cm below the waist) A truly unique piece, refined, functional and full of soul.
