Here is a bouquet in bacon stone. Bacon stone is a soapstone (aluminous silicate, hydrate with iron and magnesia) imitating jade, pale white-green in color and with gray and orange mottling. Quite tender, it was used in the far east for the making of small objects, statuettes, dog of fô, pagodas, magots, carved and polished seals. It was widely imported into europe in the eighteenth century. This bouquet is in a good state of conservation. Note some traces of wear, small shocks and patina wear. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the condition, thank you for detailing the photos. H6350. Feel free to zoom in. Photos are an integral part of the description. Size: Height: 13 cm. Width: 5.5 cm. Length: 10 cm.
