Danish teak wall unit with a console, 1960s

A minimalist teak wall unit, closely related to the iconic modular designs of poul cadovius from the 1960s. The compact console makes the set ideal for storing essentials in an entryway, in the living room, or bedroom. The wall unit is designed as a modular shelving system, allowing many possible arrangements. The assembly is simple and intuitive, with components mounted on solid wood rails using brass hangers and metal pins. Using four short rails instead of two long ones increases the arrangement possibilities, allowing for both horizontal and diagonal layouts. The set includes: console: h: 12 / w: 80 / d: 30 cm (internal height of drawer: 6 cm) 4 shelves: w: 80 / d: 20 cm. 4 solid wood montage rails, each 100 cm long. Brass hangers and pins. the craftsmanship, material quality, and design ethos are in keeping with the modular, space-saving philosophy of danish modern furniture. This vintage unit is after a full renovation with new layers of danish oil finish. All interiors are clean and drawers slide smoothly. Excellent condition.
