Large Art Deco wardrobe from the 1930s-1940s in Macassar ebony / rosewood veneer. Authentic period cabinetry, not a reproduction. Dimensions: H 190cm X W 150cm X D 49cm - large and tall, very spacious storage. 2 doors including 1 central mirror door with original beveled mirror. Light mahogany interior with solid wood shelves + marquetry inlaid with black dotted lines on the edge (detail visible in photos) Original lock with key (visible in photo) - closes well. Characteristic striped Macassar veneer from the Art Deco period. Condition: Very healthy and solid structure. Veneer needs slight re-gluing at the bottom of the drawer + top varnish dulled by time (see photos). Clean interior. Clean mirror. Usable in its vintage state or to be refurbished. WARDROBE EASILY DISMANTLED. Quality furniture, rare in this width of 150cm.
