Set of 3 matte stoneware jugs, white glazed interior. France, circa 1950–1970. Jug No. 1 — dark brown stoneware. Stout body with marked shoulder, dark brown-red stoneware, decorated with two incised dotted friezes at the neck. White glazed interior. Unglazed base bearing the number "2" in relief, probably a size number. Undetermined origin, in the tradition of utilitarian stoneware from Central France. Height: 17.5 cm. Diameter: 12 cm. Width with handle: 17 cm. Jug No. 2 — light sandy beige stoneware. More elongated shape with a narrow neck, light sandy beige stoneware, decorated with parallel incised stripes at the neck. White glazed interior. Base bearing the stamped mark "Grès du Berry / Fait Main / Made in France" followed by a size number. Manufacture of Berry (Central France). Height: 18 cm. Diameter: 11.5 cm. Width with handle: 16.5 cm. Jug No. 3 — pink terracotta stoneware. Cylindrical shape with a slightly flared neck, pink terracotta stoneware, decorated with two incised dotted friezes at the neck. White glazed interior. Base bearing a partially legible mark "Made in France" with model number. Height: 19.5 cm. Diameter: 12 cm. Width with handle: 19.5 cm. Overall good condition, signs of use consistent with age.
