Legros jean (1917-1981) untitled (relief iii), c 1970. Geometric shape stamped on arches vellum. Signed lower right and numbered 3/30 lower left. Print run in 30 copies. Dimensions of the work: 28.3 X 38.3 cm. In good condition (small spots). Biographical elements: jean legros is a geometric abstract painter, active during the second half of the twentieth century. In his series of reliefs from which these pieces are derived, the formal influence of the dadaist painter jen arp, whose assistant he was, is clearly visible. Provenance: claude bruneteau private collection. Sold not framed. Sold unframed. Possibility of framing, in a natural wood frame and with mat, on estimate (see our suggestion of presentation, in photos). Fast and neat sending in reinforced cardboard tube.
