Signed Degué France Art Deco Pink Frosted Glass Plafonnier Rose Design

This authentic 1930s French Art Deco plafonnier (ceiling pendant light shade) was crafted by the renowned Verrerie d'Art Degué, established by the enigmatic artist David Guéron in Paris.Made from thick, heavy-weight frosted pink molded glass, this octagonal-shaped shade features an elegant, relief-molded pattern of stylized geometric roses. The contrast between the deeply textured frost and the smooth, polished accents on the floral motifs allows the glass to diffuse light into a warm, soft, and sophisticated glow when illuminated. This stunning collector's item is fully authenticated, featuring the raised, molded "Degué" signature embedded within the decoration, alongside "France" prominently marked along the outer rim edge. Designed carefully for traditional cord or chain hanging, the rim is structurally molded with 4 factory-drilled suspension holes to accommodate cords, silk ropes, or decorative metal chains. The shade is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some air bubbles and marks within the glass which is a common feature in glass lighting from this era.
