Louis XV walnut commode

Carved wooden commode, Regency / Louis XV style, 18th century. Elegant antique walnut commode, opening with three wide drawers at the front, richly adorned with sculpted decorations in reserve. The front features a remarkable decoration of leafy scrolls and floral motifs carved, rhythmically accented by keyholes and bronze handles with floral designs. The drawers are separated by moulded crosspieces and rest on a short, slightly curved base. The piece is topped with an overhanging top with a corbin beak, highlighted by a moulding at the front and sides. The uprights are also embellished with sculpted motifs. The whole offers a beautiful warm and deep patina, with well-finished and glazed interiors. Period: 18th century, Regency / Louis XV style. Material: walnut, bronze elements. Opening: three drawers.
