Vintage fisherman’s chest – Work stool with red seat

Here is a charming chest or fisherman's stool from the 1950s-60s. We do have a fondness for these small pieces of furniture; whether it's their compact size, their storage capacity, or their 2-in-1 function, it doesn't matter—this little specimen immediately captivated us. Made of wood and plywood, this vintage stool features a red faux leather seat. The interior offers three storage compartments. Being vintage, signs of its age are visible, including darkened rings on the seat. The clasps show wear but are all functional. This retro seat will easily find its place in a living room around the coffee table to serve as a bohemian extra seat, in a bathroom, a dressing room, or in a child's bedroom to become their toy chest.
