Chinese bolster in white wood and red marble

Period: ca. 1930s-40s this harness has four curved legs with a pierced spacer and a round top in red and gray marble. Four aprons decorated with pierced designs adorn the top. The marble slab is recessed into a raised profile. The support has been painted in satin white condition: good. Painted. Old (inactive) woodworm holes that have been filled in are slightly visible under the paint layer. The round frame is slightly curved when viewed from one side, but the top is straight. Dimensions: 69 cm high, 35 cm in diameter, 38 cm wide between the legs, 4 kg.
