Vintage Scandinavian oak desk "Karl"

Superb vintage Scandinavian desk "Karl" in golden oak with understated and perfectly balanced lines. Its generous top rests on four tapered legs, a signature of 1960s Nordic design. The front features an elegant contrast between open niches, a discreet sliding door, and integrated storage, while the back reveals a symmetrical arrangement of finely grooved drawers. The warm grain of the wood and the honey hue bring a soft and luminous presence to the space. Designed to be placed in the centre of a room, this desk combines minimalist aesthetics with functionality, offering numerous storage spaces hidden within an airy silhouette. A vintage piece with timeless charm, ideal for a minimalist interior. We have fully restored this desk in our workshop in Touraine (sanding, staining, and varnishing).
