Murano glass grape cluster lampshade from the 1950s.

An antique lampshade, very likely Italian Murano work from the mid-20th century, around 1950-1960. It features a rich gilded metal frame adorned with numerous moulded and coloured glass elements, arranged in leaves, flowers, and grape clusters in shades of green, turquoise blue, and amber. The assembly, particularly elaborate, is achieved by individually fixing the glass elements onto an internal metal structure, in the spirit of Venetian Murano-type productions from this period. The piece retains a very beautiful overall appearance, with a lovely depth of material and remarkable light effects. Dimensions: height 31 cm; diameter approx. 23 cm. Condition: very good overall condition. The glass elements present are in very good condition; given the complexity of the assembly, some decorative elements may possibly be missing, although it is not possible to confirm the original composition precisely. Lampshade sold alone, without lamp base.
