Modernist lamp from the 60s/70s by SCE for Habitat

Superb lamp in the pure modernist style circa 1970. Art deco inspired model, in the style of jean perzel's productions, manufactured in france by sce (société centrale d'illumination) and distributed by habitat under the name "new york lamp ". During the brand's 50th anniversary in 2014, it will be included among the 50 cult and emblematic objects in the brand's history. The polished chrome metal base supports an inverted dome diffuser in milky white glass. The lamp measures 53 cm in height including 38 cm for the foot. The diameter of the base is 21 cm, of the dome 27.5 cm. The wire is 150 cm. In excellent condition (we note 2 small pitting of the chrome under the globe, invisible when the lamp is installed), ultra qualitative (nearly 5 kg), this very beautiful lamp, very designer, will become a remarkable piece of your interior by diffusing a soft light and warm.
