Rare set of 4 chairs in solid oak and original straw by the designer, architect and interior designer henri jacques le meilleur circa 1937. Very good original condition of the set. Precursor and architect behind the megeve station. Winner of the rougevin prize in 1923, he became a collaborator of pierre patout and jacques-émile ruhlmann. In 1925, he was recommended by the industrialist adolphe beder to baroness noémie de rothschild, who ordered a chalet from him in megève.
