Vintage oil on canvas "Marine at Grandcamp" R. Gautier (size 8 P)

Authentic oil on canvas from the second half of the 20th century, signed by the French painter R. Gautier. This very lovely seascape depicts trawlers and traditional fishing boats moored in the port of Grandcamp (now Grandcamp-Maisy, a famous fishing port in Calvados, Normandy). The work stands out for its beautiful textured impasto, a vibrant marine color palette (azure blue, bright red hull), and a very successful typical coastal atmosphere. The painting is sold in its superb original art frame from "DELF Cadres d'Art, " featuring a beautiful two-tone brown and sand patina. The artist's signature is present at the bottom right of the canvas and is hand-signed on the back. A character piece ideal for adding a salty, authentic, and charming "brocante" touch to your wall decor. Characteristics and dimensions: • Artist: R.
