Cerenne Vallauris Service

Very nice midnight blue service gilded with fine gold from the potter cérenne, very active in vallauris in the 50s. Twisted handles reminiscent of the work of marius giuge. Set consisting of 5 cups, a teapot and a sugar bowl. A repainted shard repainted blue under the lid of the teapot, see photo. Very discreet. Gilding slightly faded in places, but still in excellent condition. The blue is magnificently deep. It is a very nice service for christmas parties and tables, with a little alice in wonderland side. Really unusual room, especially in this state. The signature is visible when you play the light, difficult to take a picture. Teapot height: 19 cm. Cup diameter: 10cm.
