Matteo Grassi Cognac Chair, 1970

Magnificent vintage chair in cognac leather and chrome metal by Matteo Grassi, 1970 Beautiful chair in chrome metal based on the B34 model by Marcel Breuer, reissued by Matteo Grassi in the 1970s. This seat with its pure design, presents a tubular chrome metal structure. The Backrest, the Seat and the Armrests are upholstered in cognac leather with some but very light signs of wear. It is stitched with Sellier stitch, a two-needle sewing technique, very popular because it is very strong. Note that the latter appears to be in Suspension, due to the absence of vertical feet at the rear. This Design, in addition to bringing an Aerial spirit to this Seat, also offers the advantage of giving Flexibility: it will adapt to the position of its user. With its original curves, this Armchair brilliantly combines Comfort and Timeless Design. Period: 1970. Perfect condition.
