Thonet chair model 209 called "Le Corbusier"

We no longer present this classic curved wooden chair! Since the 1920s, this model 209 has often been described as a "masterpiece" because of its design and manufacture: the backrest and armrests are made up of a single curved cantilever frame, made of a single piece of solid beech. Still made today, this iconic chair has only taken a wrinkle. The one we propose is difficult to date, we estimate it in the 50s/60s. This model was originally with a very used canage seat. It has been restored with a plywood seat, foam and grey furnishing fabric. Size: Seat: height 49cm. File: height 80cm. Total width 56cm. Depth 47cm.
