Art Nouveau card board signed – WMF – Silver metal

2629 - late nineteenth-early twentieth century, very decorative, this exceptional large card tray signed on the back (photo, to decipher) in silver metal in good condition. Not bumped and not split. Set of a hunting scene of diana huntress with her nymphs and dogs hunting deer with her bow and spears. Typically stylized art nouveau perimeter. Listed in the 1906 catalogue on wmf household utensils (württembergische metallwarenfabrik). For information, this factory of high-end household, gastronomic and hotel products was founded in 1853 in geislingen an der steige in germany by daniel straub and the schweizer brothers.
