Velvet ottoman footstool by Steiner, France circa 1970

Very nice footstool called "ottoman" circa 1970. Model from the French house Steiner (see label on photo) in the vein of the famous Maralunga by Vico Magistretti. Entirely restored by an upholsterer especially for its sale and covered with a very beautiful ecru chenille velvet, in the spirit of the 70's but very contemporary. The base is naturally slightly V-shaped with 4 small black plastic pads. The cushion is removable. Height 38 cm, width 68 cm, depth 50 cm, seat 54x49 cm at 32 cm high. Obviously in perfect condition, it will normally play its role as a footstool but can be diverted into an occasional seat in a living room or an entrance hall or even as a bedside table by removing the cushion and placing a window on it. So here is a very chic Swiss army knife of decoration that is presented to you.
