Velvet ottoman footrest or low stool by Steiner, France 1970

Very nice ottoman footrest from around 1970. Model from the French house Steiner (see label in the last photo) in the style of the famous Maralunga by Vico Magistretti. Fully restored by an upholsterer specifically for its sale and covered in a beautiful ecru chenille velvet, embodying the 70s spirit but very contemporary. The base is naturally slightly V-shaped with four small black plastic pads. The cushion is removable. Height 38 cm, width 68 cm, depth 50 cm, seat 54x49 cm at a height of 32 cm. Of course, it is in perfect condition; it will normally serve as a footrest but can also be repurposed as extra seating in a living room or hallway, or even as a bedside table by removing the cushion and placing a glass on top. Thus, this is a very chic Swiss Army knife of decor being presented to you.
