Great cut of the danish ceramist marianne starck for the factory michael andersen and son of which she was artistic director from 1955. This great ceramist has developed a cracking process "persia" (which can be reminiscent of raku).for which she obtained the gold medal at the bruvelles exhibition. The bottom of the cut is made according to this persia process and decorated with indigo blue geometric patterns. The cut is marked on the reverse with the initials "ms", "g", michael andersen's 3 fish logo, and a reference number. Diam: 34cm h: 7cm. Denmark around 1960. Ceramic in very good condition, (no feles or splinters), beautiful shine, note that the background is slightly grayer than in the photos where it looks white...
