Mid-century modern Sommerso table lamp by Ove Sandberg for Kosta, 1970s

A striking vintage Sommerso 1960s glass table lamp, handmade and signed by Swedish glass artist Ove Sandberg for Kosta, Sweden. The lamp is distinguished by its rich deep orange-amber coloration and the refined depth created by the Sommerso glass technique. Multiple layers of contrasting coloured glass are carefully immersed within clear crystal glass, creating a sense of depth and visual movement while keeping the individual layers distinct.
